Bike Hire at Lower Gate Glamping
One of the best ways to experience the countryside around Lower Gate Glamping is on two wheels. Quiet lanes, rolling hills, historic villages and wide open views make this part of East Sussex ideal for cycling, whether you fancy a gentle potter or a longer day out.
From this season, we're offering bike hire directly from site, which means you can set off straight from your accommodation and return to the same peaceful base at the end of the day. No car journeys, no bike racks, just simple, relaxed exploring.
Cycling here suits couples looking for a scenic day out, families wanting an easy adventure, and solo riders keen to explore lanes that most visitors never see. Many of our routes pass pubs, cafés, vineyards and viewpoints, so it's easy to turn a ride into a proper day out.
Bike Hire Rates (From 2026 Season)
We now offer bike hire exclusively for guests staying on site.
- Adult bikes: £20 per day
- Child bikes: £10 per day
All hires include helmets and locks.
How It Works
Bikes are collected and returned at Lower Gate Glamping. We'll make sure everything is set up correctly before you leave and can talk you through route options if helpful.
If you'd like help choosing the right route for your stay, just let us know when you arrive. All riders are required to complete a short hire waiver before setting off.
