By booking with us you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.
BOOKING, PAYMENTS & CANCELLATION: Our website booking
system will automatically take a 25% deposit for bookings that
are more than 30 days in advance, subsequently you will receive
an email reminder & payment link for the final payment. 30
days prior to arrival. For stays that are within 30 days of
booking the payment is in full.
For bookings that are more than 30 days away a cancellation fee
of 15% will be deducted from the refund of the deposit to cover
costs & administration. For cancellations within 30 days of
your arrival date we will try to re-sell your booking & if
we do we will refund in full less 15% costs/admin fee. If we are
unable to re-sell your booking no refund will be payable,
therefore in order to cover unforeseen circumstances, we
strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance or
check your annual travel insurance policy to cover any spent
cost should you cancel for any reason.
PRICES:
The price quoted is per tent and includes bed linen for all
occupants. You are able to book an additional fourth bed which
is a roll out mattress and is charged at £25, the bedding will
also be included in the price. We do reserve the right to alter
prices at any time. However, prices stated on booking
confirmation will be honoured.
DOGS:
You are very welcome to bring your furry friends, we charge an
additional £15 per dog per stay and will allow a maximum of 2
per tent.
Just a few rules;
• Dogs to be kept on leads at all times whilst in the
camp site.
• Please clear up after your dog and use the dog bin
provided.
• No overly noisy dogs please.
• Dogs must not be left in the tents without their
owners.
• Please kindly keep your furry friends off the bed and
futons.
CHILDREN:
We are a family glamping site so children are always welcome.
For the child/adult using the extra fourth bed an additional £25
is charged per night. Children under 2 years go free.
Our guests come to take a break and relax so we just ask that
children are well supervised (we have 8 grandchildren so know
how hard that can be!).
Please ensure that your children stay within the camp site
unless with an adult, there is open water around the farm, so
you need to be careful.
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE:
Please do not arrive earlier than 14:30pm as we may still be
preparing the site for you.
On arrival please park in the car park and then go onto the site
and find your tent and make yourselves at home. We will come to
welcome you as soon as we can. If you wish to contact us please

On the day of your departure we need to make sure all guests
have left by 10:30am. Please strip all the beds and put all
linen in bag provided. We encourage you to leave the site as you
found it.
SMOKING/VAPING:
Smoking/vaping is prohibited in the tents and on the decks.
Please be respectful and only smoke/vape around your firepit.
FIRE REGULATIONS:
Tea lights and candles are strictly forbidden inside or
outside. Frontier stoves are provided to keep you warm inside
the tents. Each tent also comes with its own fire pit and BBQ.
We encourage you to enjoy an open fire watching the stars and
cook in the open air. You can purchase wood from us on site. We
do not allow fireworks or Chinese lanterns to be used on site at
any time.
• Fire point - This is situated outside the barn next to
the fire assembly sign.
• Fire blanket/extinguishers - These are provided in each
tent and are for emergencies only.
DAMAGE & BREAKAGES:
Please take care when staying at Lower Gate Glamping. You are
responsible and liable for any breakages or damage that you
cause to the tents or its contents. Please report any incidents
when they occur. We reserve the right to charge for repair or
replacement of broken or damaged items. Please leave your tent
clean and tidy, we reserve the right to make an additional
charge for cleaning if tents are left unreasonably dirty.
NOISE:
Lower Gate Glamping is a tranquil place where our guests should
be able to relax. However, we do want you to have fun and so
just ask that noise is kept to a minimum particularly in the
evenings and specifically after 10.00 pm. Please do not bring
amplified music of any sort & respect other guests. We
reserve the right to instruct guests to leave the site without
notice or recompense/refund if they are disturbing the peace
& enjoyment of others.
Please note that we do not take Hen or Stag parties without
special arrangement.
ADDITIONAL DAY/EVENING GUESTS:
Please do not invite additional day or evening guests on site
without specific prior arrangement.
RECYCLING & WASTE:
We have provided recycling and waste bins and ask that
guests help us adhere to our green policy of reducing waste that
needs to go to landfill. Please also ensure that taps are turned
off after use.
PARKING LIABILITY:
Limited parking facilities are available on site but vehicles
and their contents are left at the owner’s risk. We can not
accept any liability for any damage whilst on site.
EVENTS BEYOND OUR CONTROL
We will not be responsible for any failure to perform our
obligations under these terms and conditions that are caused by
an event outside our control.
An event outside our control means any act or event that is
beyond our reasonable control, including, without limitation,
severe weather event, drought, fire, explosion, storm, flood,
earthquake, subsidence, epidemic/pandemic or other natural
disaster, strikes or industrial action by third parties,
terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war or threat of
war, civil commotion, riot, invasion, or failure of public or
private telecommunications networks.
